Benjamin Escobar is a Houston-based filmmaker with over ten years of experience in video production, broadcast media, and independent film. His work spans cinematography, directing, editing, and live multi-camera production, with a focus on creating authentic, story-driven visuals.

He began filmmaking in high school, where his work was featured nationally through PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs. Since then, he has worked across studio productions, live broadcasts, and creative projects, developing strong skills in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Benjamin currently works in media production at HCCTV and First Presbyterian Church Houston, and was part of a team recognized with a Telly Award in 2025 for an educational program. He is especially interested in multi-camera production and aims to build a career as a television director or camera operator, with a focus on sitcoms.

A bilingual filmmaker with family roots in El Salvador, he brings a unique perspective to his storytelling and continues to grow his craft through hands-on work and new creative challenges.
